学习与掌握作为工学基础的“传统”与“前沿”的机械技术
作为制造业轴心的 “设计”、“能源与控制”、“生产技术 ”三大领域,汇集了过去传承下来的制造业知识和技术。机械工程系的学生可以掌握机械工程的基础知识和实践技能,以及相关的先进技术,并将其应用于对社会和产业有用的研究。机械工程系将培养活跃于未来产业界的,具有丰富的专业知识的工程师。
设计
学生在学习面向产品制造的工业设计知识的同时,还学习商业提案,掌握基于CAD/CAM/CAE的结构开发、分析及设计方法。培养具备生产制造领域所需的实用技能的工程师。

学生学习材料科学及加工方法,掌握生产制造领域的实用知识和技能。此外,还培养学生的新材料研发和新加工方法探索的能力。培养能为提高生产精度与质量和降低成本做出贡献的工程师。
